The Aptus Group is a non-public agency dedicated to providing our clients with high quality educational and therapeutic services. We partner with charter, private, and public schools, and community-based organizations throughout Southern California.

Services
Aptus Specialists include: General and Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Adapted PE Teachers, Vision Specialists, School Nurses, Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialists, Physical Therapists, Behavior Specialists, and Classified Support Personnel.
Multidisciplinary teams are also available for IEEs and caseload support.
In-Person Services
Aptus specialists are available to work alongside your staff in school and community-based settings. Our specialists are given a wide variety of tools, techniques, and technology for assessment and direct service purposes.
Distance Services
Aptus providers are trained in HIPAA and FERPA compliant platforms to work seamlessly with families and extended teams. Some online assessments are available.
Substitute Teachers
Aptus has substitute teachers available for short and long-term assignments. We can place teachers in your schools who hold the following credentials: Single Subject, Multiple Subject, Mild to Moderate, and Moderate to Severe.
Assessments
Aptus evaluates students in the following areas: Academic Achievement, Health, Intellectual Development, Adaptive Behavior, Language/Speech-Communication, Motor Functioning (APE/OT/PT), Social-Emotional/Behavioral Functioning (FBA, Social-Emotional, and ERICS evals).
IEP
Aptus service providers participate in all aspects of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process including 30-day reviews, annual, tri-annuals, and addendums as prescribed by Federal and State mandates.
